This place was so cute - a small little cafe in the south end. The pasteries looked yummy - definitely need to try these next time I'm in the area. We got the peppermint coffee with almond milk, a little expensive at $6.5 but it wasn't too sweet and I was a fan

Such a sweet little place, so comfy and a great place to sip your coffee and get a nice start to the day!

What a wonderful cafe! Very friendly service and welcoming environment with authentic Turkish treats. Coffee is the real deal with full espresso drink menu. My trip to beantown was complete after my time at Sip of Joy. Will absolutely come back!! Thank you!

If I had more time, I would have loved to sit and enjoy the ambiance. This is such a cute coffee shop with a relaxed vibe. The coffee was great and I appreciated the person sharing their knowledge of coffee with their customers. He gave them all the information they needed to know to make their order. My best friend and I enjoyed both a hot and cold coffee. My mat-chai latte combo was great to enjoy in this fall morning

Item(s) ordered: Cortado, flat white, raspberry crumb bar The Review: Sip of Joy truly lived up to its namesake. The owner was very kind and when I was on the fence about the cold brew, offered a taste test. They care about their beans and order them fresh from George Howell. The raspberry crumb bar apparently was "omg so good". They also had a number of other delectable items including a pumpkin cheesecake. There is limited outdoor seating but if you can get it, it's a really nice South End experience. Will be back!

Sip of Joy is a bright, modern and somewhat scandi-chic cafe The service is friendly and welcoming. There are counter/stools individual tablesand a large communal table. I got a warmed up simit (a relative of a bagel and a less-sweet Jerusalem bagel) and cream cheese and an iced chai. Both were very good. No breakfast sandwiches but quiche, pasties are available.

Great cozy cafe. The staff are super friendly and most of the drinks are made from scratch. The cafe is small and has a small outdoor patio. I highly recommend the matcha lemonade, it is not too sweet but very refreshing.

Sip of Joy is a lovely spot in the South End to enjoy a drink and pastry. The service is friendly, and the space is bright and welcoming. There are different types of seating, including counter stools and a large table. I got a plain croissant that was warmed up, and an iced chai latte. Both were tasty, but while I wouldn't get the croissant again, there were other treats that I want to try in the future.

Owner is a sweetheart! He was super welcoming and gave us a wonderful explanation behind each dish. He really cares about his customers and makes sure everyone is happy. The place is bright and cozy, which makes it a perfect work spot! The food was also yummy. The simik was covered in sesame and had a great chew, the cheese borek was oozing with cheese but had a delicious flaky crunch, the baklava was my favorite -- flaky, nutty, and not too sweet, and the spinach pie was light and filling. Their turkish coffee was also pretty good! I'd recommend asking for his opinion on the sugar level before you order.
